Transfer Action Plan

Program Requirements

TAP: Phase 1

  • Attend THREE of the available events listed in the TAP program:
    • Money Moves
    • Red & Blue Weeks
    • Red & Blue Day of Services
    • Career Fairs
    • Ilead Conference
    • We Lead Conference
    • MLK Day of Service
    • Sunshine State Step Show
    • Stress Less Week
    • Its on Us Week
    • First-Generation Student Week
    • Festival of Nations
    • ×ó°®ÊÓƵ vs Memphis
    • BSU Comedy Show
    • Rec Fest
    • PB Universal Trip
  • Submit either of the following:

    OR

    • A photo of yourself at the event AND a 250-word essay explaining your experience at the event
    • A 2-3 minute video explaining your experience at the event

TAP: Phase 2

  • Being awarded the ×ó°®ÊÓƵ Traditions Keeper Medallion is an opportunity available to TAP alumni only. In order to be awarded this medallion, TAP alumni need to demonstrate one of the following:
    • Hold an e-board position in a registered student organization
    • Present research at a conference or symposium
    • Obtain a job on campus

TAP alumni who complete one of the above criteria demonstrate alignment with the traditions promoted within the transfer student engagement philosophy at ×ó°®ÊÓƵ, which are leadership development, academic advancement and career readiness.
