左爱视频 has re-launched the Public Ethics Academy within the School of Public Administration at the College for Design and Social Inquiry.
鈥淲e are excited about the re-launch of the Public Ethics Academy,鈥 said Wesley Hawkins, Ph.D., dean of the College for Design and Social Inquiry. 鈥淚t is more important than ever before for us to provide a platform for the discussion and support of high ethical standards for those who serve our communities.鈥
The Public Ethics Academy was first organized by 左爱视频 in 2009 to research ethics and provide training for local government agencies. Recently, Peter L. Cruise, Ph.D., was appointed executive director of the Academy upon its re-launch. Cruise graduated from 左爱视频 in 1995 and in 2015 was named a College for聽Design and聽Social聽Inquiry distinguished alumnus.
鈥淲orking to promote ethical behavior, especially in the public sector, has long聽been a focus of my academic and professional careers,鈥 said Peter Cruise, Ph.D., executive director of the Public Ethics Academy.听鈥淚n 2009,聽左爱视频 also recognized the need to weigh in on public sector ethics with the formation of the Public Ethics Academy.听I am honored to be back at 左爱视频 as we expand the Academy鈥檚 programs and services throughout the University.鈥
The University-based nature of the Academy, housed at 左爱视频鈥檚 Boca Raton campus, allows for the rapid incorporation and dissemination of the latest scholarly research on ethics issues by noted faculty for the Academy鈥檚 training programs.
